Casevac drone.. now there’s a good idea! I know both sides in Ukraine are working on them, but I don’t think they have them in use yet. Choppers are no longer survivable along the fronts in modern warfare.
The war in Ukraine has changed most elements of modern warfare. The US Army has started to shutdown several aviation units, thousands of helo pilots are affected. Billions are being spent into drone and counter drone tech. It’s wild. The Ukraine navy which never had many ships has wrecked the Russian Black Sea Fleet with drones. I watched a video about how on the front lines, troops on both sides have to backpack supplies in 15- 20 miles; because of drones. No vehicles survive going forward, and night time is worse. Crazy times.
