I figured he was a maggot….very well done creating a situation where I genuinely fear for his squad mates now.
Bastard reminds me of the “special action” guy from Cross of Iron
many thanks from an old Infantry Sergeant Major for this fantastic story
Sergeant Major approved! Thank you so much for liking and following my webcomic. I don’t get many comments/feedback, so I am very happy that you are entertained by this story. It really means so much, especially coming from a senior NCO. Thank you for your service and thank you for following The 388th.
No thanks required..you make a great story.
Should point out that I served in the Canadian Army..so Sgt Mjr in the Commonwealth sense as opposed to our Yankee Brethren.
I’m strange; I’ve always felt that anyone who has suited up, regardless of when, or what they did, are my brothers and sisters. Past or present, we all chose to risk our lives for something bigger than self. For me that applies to all allied countries, because we are all the same.
And that’s how you ‘volunteer’ for mine clearing….
LOL, I wish I thought of that!
As a former Grunt I would probably have made sure this guy regretted this idea.
Without a doubt. Unfortunately for the squad, it gets worst.
